Introducing
Bring art onto the bar – Counter Works is a rotating series of commissioned artworks from Hundred House, celebrating creativity across the coffee community and beyond.
Designed to live both on and off the bar, each print fits neatly into a grinder hopper clip, transforming the coffee bar into a miniature exhibition space. It also functions as a greeting card, with a perforated fold allowing the artwork to be separated, displayed and kept.
Launching this summer - every quarter, we invite artists to submit their work through an open call. A group of artists will be selected and commissioned to create a new piece that will be Riso printed in our studio and distributed to cafés, coffee shops and homes across the UK.
Whether you're an illustrator, painter, printmaker, designer or visual artist working in any medium, we'd love to see your work.
We're looking for distinctive voices, bold ideas and artwork that sparks conversation.Selected artists will receive a commission, have their work professionally Riso printed, and become part of the growing Counter Works collection, bringing contemporary art into everyday coffee spaces.
Selected artists will be commissioned to create a new limited edition work and will receive a fee of £150 for each work commissioned.
