Lulo coffee is a coffee producer and exporter that owns mills and farms in Gedeb (Yirgacheffe) and Hambella Guji producing fine speciality honey, natural, and anaerobic natural coffees. Lulo also works with other mill owners in Sidama, Yirgacheffe, and West Arsi, producing fine washed and natural coffees along with single farmers in Guji, Sidama, Yirgacheffe, and West Arsi. Through their project, The Lulo Promise, they work with single farmers who have two hectares and above.

In 2019, while exploring the south eastern coffee growing highlands in a search for the ideal location for their mill and farm development, they met many farmers with two hectares and above who have a license to process and export their coffee, however, many were having challenges finding a market on their own. Lulo decided to step in and assist farmers and The Lulo Promise currently has over 200 farmers under its programme – with farmers going on to win the Cup of Excellence in 2020 and 2021. Lulo also has many female farmers in the programme, with all coffees being single farm and of exceptional quality and traceability.

Idedo is a town located in Yirgacheffe Woreda, northeast of the city of Yirgacheffe. Idedo and the surrounding highlands are known for producing the finest quality Yirgacheffe coffee. This is due to its high altitude and relatively cooler temperature.
